Titanium is a naturally iridescent metal that is applied to the back of the stone. The dominant colors are green and purple, with occasional flashes of yellow and red.

In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this yellow gold ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it.
